Speakeasy Closes It's Doors
It's never good to see a comic book publisher go under. Full Story
....and a bunch of shit you probably couldn't care less about.
Apparently Colossus is bisexual in X-Men 3.
"Colossus has a much larger part in this film. He joins the X-Men with Kitty near the beginning of the film. He also is in the Danger Room sequence where he throws Wolverine during a fastball special at a Sentinel. Colossus metals up quite a few times and he fights Juggernaut in the final battle. Colossus is bisexual in the film and he has crushes on both Rogue and Wolverine. He acts kind of like a big brother towards the other students."
So I guess he'll "cop a feal" when he throws Wolvie in the fastball special?
One of these days I'll get tired of waiting for "the right piece" to come along and just pull the triger on a PCR piece......one of these days.
Could Uncanny X-Men actually be well written? Could the art be pleasing to the eye? Could both happen at the same time?! It's looking like it might happen this summer when Ed Brubaker and Billy Tan take over as the creative team. Yes, there is a God, and it's not Chris Claremont. Newsarama has an interview posted with Ed.
Veteran actor Phil Brown, best known to Star Wars fans as Luke Skywalker's Uncle Owen Lars from A New Hope, died Feb. 9th after a lengthy illness. Full Story
I mentioned this a while back (thanks again Red Hook), and now this story has been updated with parts 72 - 130 (thanks to HouseofComics.Com for pointing out the update). If you haven't already, go read this mans fascinating story about comic books, life, and how the two have treated him.
While it may not be saying much, Marvel is ending their best title, The Pulse, with issue #14. Newsarama has the story and a preview.
Joss updates us on Wonder Woman and the possible Spike movie and Serenity sequel. Read it.
Comic Book Spinner Rack has posted some great information on several pedigree collections. Educate yourself!
I told you in an earlier post what I thought about the new Spider-Man costume. Apparently I'm not alone.

P. Craig Russell has always been my favorite artist. It's time I buy a piece of his art.
Currently on Ebay:
Sandman
Daredevil (with Captain America) in street cloths
Elric
I'll have to jump high on the Sandman piece, but I'm going to give it a try. The Daredevil page will make a nice consolation prize if I don't get the Sandman page. The Elric piece may get purchased by me if I don't get the Sandman page. I'll let you know how it turns out.
The following open e-mail has been sent to Fisher’s friends from his relative, April Fisher. It reads:
Dear Friends of Seth,
I've just hung up the phone from talking with Vicki (Seth's mother) in Japan. She is with family and friends at the wake. She was overwhelmed when I told her so many people are talking about him online, in blogs and forums. She thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers. It seems Seth fell seven stories off the roof of a club in Osaka. The autopsy revealed massive internal bleeding and suggests that he died instantly.
The funeral in Japan is on Saturday. Condolences may be sent to Hisako (his wife) at:
